This is the privacy policy for Streamlearned Ltd, a registered company in England and Wales (number 13589272). It explains how we use the personal information we collect from you, when you use our websites. We have two websites – https://streamlearned.com (which we use to market our products) and https://app.streamlearned.com (where our revision platform is hosted). This privacy policy applies to both websites.

1. What data do we collect?
We collect the following personal data:

Personal identification information – Some of this is required and is collected when you create an account on our revision platform (first name, last name, email address, username, password), and some of it is optional and can be provided after creating an account (location, curriculum studied and examination year)

Learning data – This includes courses you are enrolled in, completion data, question responses and scores, points earned, groups you have joined, content posted in and engagement with learning groups, and time spent completing course components

Payment and subscription information – This includes the name, email address and billing address of the cardholder, details of your orders and active course subscriptions. Payment card details are collected and stored by our payment gateway provider, Stripe

Usage data – This includes the IP addresses of devices used to access our websites, device type, browser type, time of visits, number of daily visits to our websites, webpages you visit, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
2. How do we collect your data?
You directly provide us with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

Register a new user account, update your account information, and when you purchase access to a course

Complete course components, such as topics, lessons and quizzes

Join, post in, and engage with our learning groups

Voluntarily complete a customer survey, provide feedback or request support (either by email, webform or on-screen messaging)

We do not receive your data indirectly from other sources.

3. How will we use your data?
We collect your data so that we may:

Provide the services that you have purchased access to, such as our courses

Email you with information that is important and relates to your account, our service, or the products you have purchased from us (we call these transactional emails)

We will not share your data with other companies for marketing purposes.
When we process your order, we will provide some information to our payment gateway provider (Stripe), in order to take payment. Stripe may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies, in order to prevent fraudulent purchases.
4. How do we store your data?
All personal data that you provide us with is stored securely in Google Cloud datacentres, who host our services.
We use an email provider, Sendinblue, in order to send marketing emails and some transactional emails to you. To enable this, limited personal data (your first name and email address) is stored on Sendinblue servers.

We only keep your data for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy.

5. How do we market our products to you?
We may sometimes send you information, by email, about our products that we think you might be interested in. You may opt-out of these emails by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the email.

We will never promote products or services offered by other companies.

6. What are your data protection rights?
We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights under the Data Protection Act 2018 (UK).
